It features an integrated 2.8″ touch screen that allows autonomous operation. This intuitive interface provides convenience and flexibility. Additionally, its compact dimensions of 238x225x110 mm save space in your workspace.   Precision and Versatility Tonewinder 1.3 incorporates a precise tension sensor on the guide arm. You can manually adjust the wire tension with an accuracy of 1 gram. Consequently, it winds any gauge of wire used for guitar pickups, most commonly from 38 AWG to 45 AWG.   Built-in Gaussmeter for Accurate Measurements To enhance its versatility, a powerful magnetic field meter (Gaussmeter) is included. It measures your magnets accurately with a linear range up to 2,500 Gs.   Five Winding Modes for Customized Coils Tonewinder 1.3 offers five winding modes to suit your needs: CONSTANT Mode: Ensures a constant fill factor across the coil. TABLE Mode: Customize the coil by selecting up to six different sections. In each section, you can adjust the number of turns and desired fill factor. SCATTER Mode: Introduce randomness into the winding process. As a result, the fill factor randomly changes every few turns, creating a unique coil character. EMULATE Mode: Vary the fill factor in real time using the potentiometer, emulating manual winding. Once satisfied, you can save your pattern in memory to replicate it later. MANUAL Mode: Wind manually by guiding the copper wire with your hands in the traditional way.   Advanced Software with Coil Calculator The advanced software includes a coil calculator that estimates the number of turns and final dimensions of the coil based on given data. Furthermore, it calculates the turns per layer (TPL) to ensure accuracy and consistency.   Extensive Storage and Connectivity Options Store up to 59 pickup configurations in the internal memory. For more storage, you can connect to a PC via Wi-Fi to upload or download projects. Therefore, this provides unlimited storage possibilities.   Easy Software Updates Updating the software is straightforward. You can update the microcontroller software via Wi-Fi from a PC. Similarly, update the touchscreen software using a microSD card.   Interactive Help and Pickup Library Tonewinder 1.3 features interactive help on all screens. By clicking on any parameter description, you access detailed information and recommended values. In addition, the new software version includes an extensive library of common guitar and bass pickup models, complete with winding diagrams for easy tracking.   Enhanced Safety Features Safety is a priority in our design. A light on the base flashes brightly to alert you of any problems during winding. However, you can disable this feature if necessary. Before starting, the winder makes initial turns to accommodate the thread on the bobbin. When finishing, it leaves the last turns of thread next to the lower base of the bobbin. Moreover, we have incorporated two safety triggers. One detects problems with the winding plate, such as incorrect rotation or stopping. The other stops the winding process if thread tension exceeds predefined limits, thus preventing copper wire breaks.   Real-Time Feedback and On-the-Fly Adjustments Monitor the winding process in real time. The display shows the number of turns, layers wound, fill factor, time remaining, and thread tension. If needed, you can make adjustments during winding by changing the offset. This way, you correct any deviations in base or height parameters.   Minimal Maintenance Requirements Maintenance is minimal. Simply lubricate the felts and bearings with oil monthly. Additionally, grease the guide arm drive mechanism annually to ensure trouble-free operation.   High Compatibility and Customization The winding plate includes holes to accommodate magnets protruding from pickups or eyelets on the base, making it compatible with 99.9% of commercial coil models. Furthermore, Tonewinder 1.3 can wind coils up to 110 mm in length. If you require a greater distance, you can easily modify it to suit your needs.   Upgradeability to Automatic Tension Control We supply Tonewinder 1.3 without the ATC (Automatic Tension Control).
