Original Chinese WWII KMT Officer’s Wool Tunic with KMT “Spoon & Wreath” Belt and U.S. “Our Chinese Ally” Booklet – Extremely Rare

Original Items. Only One Set Available. This is an extraordinarily scarce uniform set, the first we have ever had the pleasure of offering. This is a Chinese WWII KMT Officer’s wool uniform jacket with a rare “Spoon & Wreath” Belt and buckle, around with a great U.S. booklet titled “Our Chinese Ally” which depicts a KMT soldier on the cover wearing this style of uniform! This set will make for an outstanding display in any WWII collection. The wool officer’s jacket bears all original Chinese Sun buttons which are all correct crude construction. There is moderate mothing across the uniform but nothing too terribly distracting. The interior of the jacket shows good service wear, and there are two interior breast pockets, with a great retained maker’s label on one of them. The label roughly translates to Hongshang clothing book Tongda / Jingnan No. 203 Road Flat, although this is not exact. The included “Spoon & Wreath” belt and buckle are in great shape though the leather has heavy crazing. The two piece belt buckle shows a great patina and complements the uniform well. The included booklet is titled “Our Chinese Ally” and was issued by the War Department in 1942. It is 61 pages and looks great displayed with the uniform set!
